Q & A What do you suggest when it comes to using Glitter?
Q&A – GLITTER
Q&A
Q: I love glitter but I’m not always certain of the different ways to use it. What do you suggest? A: Glitter is a stamping girl’s best friend! There are many ways to apply glitter to your project. Liquid adhesives, Heat & Stick Powder, Sticky Strip, Shaker Frames, and Adhesive Sheets are some of my favorites. Read on to find out more about using each! Liquid Adhesives Heat & Stick Powder When you want to add a nice, even strip of glitter, Sticky Strip (#104294) is the answer. Place Sticky Strip across your project, around the rim of a jar, or a picture frame. Press it down firmly and then pull off the red backing. Cover with glitter – even Glass Stampin’ Glitter works well. Continue to cover with the glitter until no more will stick. Use a scrap piece of paper to press the glitter firmly onto the tape. Glass Stampin’ Glitter is glass so be careful when pressing. Tap off excess and you are done! I’ve seen wonderful rainbows of Shaker Frames Adhesive Sheets Never Enough Bling If you still need more sparkle, you’ll also love Glimmer Paper and Dazzling Details glitter adhesive, both available in an assortment of Add Sparkle Now you’ve seen a whole list of ways to add glitter to your projects. Go add some sparkle to your projects and make someone’s day even brighter when you share with them! Questions? Contact me, I’m always happy to help. |

PUSH THE ENVELOPE TURN THEM FROM BORING TO BRILLIANT!
Check out this video on the New Punch Envelope Board here
Punch Envelope Board on You Tube
- It creates totally customizable envelopes in up to 66 different sizes (not to mention a million different color and pattern options depending on the paper you want to use). Even tried and true envelope sizes will only take you moments to create!
- It’s super easy to use; it will go over as a huge wow when you demonstrate it at your events and your customers see it in action. It looks intimidating at first glance, but when they see that all you have to do is measure for the first punch and from there you just turn and score they’ll go crazy (in a good way).
- It’s small and lightweight; this makes it easy for you to take it to your events and show it. It’s also a great selling point when you show your customers how it’s super portable and easy to store. It’s small and light enough that they could use it while watching a soccer match, at a park, at a friend’s for craft night-anywhere.
- It even has a slick scoring tool as well as a punch that lets you create rounded corners on your envelopes.
- It’s easy to keep it all together; the stylus storage compartment and two punches are designed into the tool so you don’t have a bunch of little pieces to keep track of (even the instructions are printed right on the tool so you won’t lose them!).
- The price is terrific-especially for a tool that does so much!
- It will be in next year’s annual catalog, so it’s here to stay.

Swallowtail background stamp (#131943 wood, #129216 clear)
“If stamping techniques are your passion then the Swallowtail background stamp is a must-have investment! This large background stamp is sized to fill a standard 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” card front. It’s a beautiful and timeless image that is wonderful as a focal point or background image for cards, scrapbooks and décor. The combination of the size and line art make it an ideal stamp for a large variety of stamping techniques such as; resist techniques, watercoloring, thumping, heat embossing, coloring with Markers, multi-colored stamping, baby wipe techniques, and more! If you are addicted to stamping techniques then you’ll want to order the Swallowtail stamp and start playing right away!”
Tip: For best results with large background stamps, turn stamp rubber side up and tap with ink pad to ink completely, stand to stamp, press firmly over the whole stamp, and don’t rock. Another option is to lay the paper on the rubber stamp and rub evenly using a bone folder, fingers or roller.
