If you are anything like me I just love our Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper! They are so lovely that at times it is hard to just cut up that beautiful paper. The beautiful designs no less are on both sides so how can I just cut the paper? Well, I’m learning to do just that. This week learned to use one 12×12 paper to make this card and gift box below.

Below the 12 x 12 project is cut 5 1/2 x 12 to make the card and scored 4 1/4 & 8 1/2 The layers is whisper white 3 x 4, colored layer is 3 1/4x 4 1/4 need two sets one for the outside and one on the other flap, The inside layers are whisper white 3 3/4 x 5, colored layer is 4 x 5 1/4. I used Watercolor Pencils to color the flower.
To make the treat bag you are using the other part of the 12 x 12. The measurement needed is to cut balance to 9 1/2 x 6 1/2 the piece you cut off can be used for the envelope flap to match your card. Sorry did not take a picture. Once you have it cut you will want to score 2″, 4″, 6″, 8″ on the long side and turn and score at 2″ . Please note if has upside you want to have the 2″ ti be the bottom of the box. You next cut up on the 2″, 4″, 6″, 8″ up to the 2″ to make the bottom of the box. Then put glue on three of the flaps on the bottom and close with the fourth closing last. You have two ways to close the box 1) above pinch the sides together cut a notch either side and use to close with ribbon. 2) inside of pinching the top inside have it going out so it flat. Sorry no photo. You can then punch holes in the top and thread a ribbon.
